Project Overview
Design progress bars for each screen. Research has consistently found that certain neurotransmitters are released when you complete a task. This means that overtime our bodies have learnt that completing tasks makes us feel good, no matter how trivial they may be.
Therefore, the progress bar has the ability to play on an individuals need to complete, in order to achieve that positive feeling. It constantly encourages the user by letting them know that they are making progress. It works to visually define the end goal and effectively ‘dangles the carrot’ in front of the user.
Problem Summary

Increased drop-off rates in signups and checkouts.
